The Dental Fund
Our newest project is Dental Assistance. Meager family budgets do not allow for dental care. A local dentist was contacted and he eagerly agreed to participate in this program.
He offers a substantial discount for ‘Lev
U’Neshama’ patients, which we pay using donations. However,
by the time a patient goes to the dentist, the treatment needed is so advanced
that the cost, even with a discount, is considerable. However, with donations,
three patients have received assistance. We are actively seeking support
in this program in order to assist needy adults and children to get treatment
they need that will ward off severe problems and expensive future treatment.
A donation of $30 provides basic care including an exam, X-rays and cleaning. Further treatment may be provided if funds are available, on a per case basis.
