The Shoe Fund
A friend called and related that the children in certain families needed shoes and that another child couldn’t go to school for lack of a pair of shoes: our Shoe Project began.
We contacted the owner of a shoe store and he readily agreed to sell children’s shoes at an appreciable discount to recommended families. During the past two years 200 pairs of shoes have been provided to needy children using donations from our supporters.
A donation of $15 buys a pair of shoes for a needy child from a local participating shoe merchant.
